About
Miriam Arroyo is a Creative Director, Artist, Fashion/Technical Designer, and Art Curator.
With expertise in both menswear and womenswear, she is a fashion and technical design expert. She graduated in Menswear Design and Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, as well as in Creative Direction from the London College of Fashion.
Originally from Mexico, Miriam started her career at an early age with her first three-year Diploma in Womenswear and Millinery Fashion at the age of 15. She later earned Diplomas in Fashion and Textile Illustration, Jewelry, Creative Direction, Photography, and Filmmaking in Rome, Italy, Mexico, and London.
With over 16 years of experience in the fashion and art industry, she has developed skills such as fashion illustration, fashion design sketching, production management, production development, graphic design, photography, art history, curatorial practice, and creative direction.
She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, and runs her own art store/gallery, Somos Art House Collective, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York.
